Are you SIA Licensed? Ever wanted to become a Dog Handler? Well now is your chance.
This qualification has been developed in conjunction with NTIPDU (national training inspectorate for professional dog users) and EDI to award professional dog handlers with recognized qualification in patrol dog handling.
This 6 day intense training will take place at our dedicated dog training centre, you will be working in small groups to ensure maximum potential.
All learners are put through realistic scenarios with hands on training.
All content is delivered with the dog and learner in mind.
You can use your own dog for this training (please call to determine suitability) or Dogs can be provided for training purposes.
Accommodation and food can also be provided at the centre for only 25 per night.
Who is this qualification for?
Current SIA Door Supervision / Security Guarding License Holders (SIA training can also be given if required)
Applicants looking to use a patrol dog as part of their security duties.
Security companies wanting to expand their security portfolio
Applicants wanting a fully accredited dog handling qualification.
Applicants looking to make a career in dog handling.
* Dog MUST be a minimum of 12 months old
How will i be assesed?
Assessments take place throughout the training.
The Trainer will be watching and monitoring your skills as a dog handler throughout the course, coaching you and guiding you to become an effective dog handler.
There are 2 elements to the assessment:
1) A multiple choice examination
2) Practical demonstration of Dog Handling Skills
